First MondayOctober

World Habitat Day

EPA will observe the World Habitat Day on the first Monday of October each year. This Day is recognized by the United Nations to reflect on urbanization and the state of towns and cities in different countries of the world.

31 October

World Cities Day

EPA will observe the World Cities Day every year on October 31. The Day is designated to promote international interest in trends of global urbanization and foster cooperation among all stakeholders. It offers a great opportunity to address the different challenges and opportunities of rapid urbanization and ways of making the future cities more sustainable.

8 November

World Town Planning Day

EPA will observe the World Town Planning Day on November 8 of every year. This is a special day to celebrate and promote the role of good planning in creating livable and sustainable communities. World Town Planning Day presents a unique opportunity to reflect on urban planning knowledge and profession from a global perspective.

7 April

World Health Day

EPA will observe the World Health Day on April 7 th of every year. The World Health Day is designated to raise awareness about public health issues and ways of promoting healthier human societies.

5 June

World Environment Day

EPA will observe the World Environment Day on June 5th of every year. It is a global platform for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of the environment and promotion of environmental sustainability.
